IL CASTELLO

The Castello is a National Historical Monument located in Umbria, a pristine region better known as the green heart of Italy. It was once a fortified structure from 1100 and was restructured in the sixteenth century when it reached its maximum splendour thanks to the construction of the Nobiliary Villa, that is currently an exclusive Historical Residence. It is surrounded by squares, lush historical gardens and rolling hills that abound with vineyards, olive groves and agricultural fields that offer high quality natural products: the wines of Castello and extra virgin olive oil. A recent and meticulous restoration helped enhance the multi- faceted identity of the structure for the future generations, redefining the Castle as an ideal location for organizing all kind of events in every season: weddings, VIP stays, business meetings, international events, thanks to the huge outdoor spaces and the wide and lavish inner rooms halls. The venue, that is open on request, disposes of 20 rooms for 38 sleeping accommodations.
